MIRAGE

Mirage, the Madrid band formed by Beatriz Mariñas (vocals), Clara Sánchez (bass) and Pelayo Escandón (guitar), released their debut in January 2024, ten songs that unfold as an emotional journey that ranges from introspection to explosion, honestly exploring themes such as disenchantment, the search for identity and the contradictions of love.

Bitter Sour combines the visceral and the evocative in a magnetic balance. An album that revitalizes the spirit of seventies rock and contains certain nineties echoes without falling into nostalgia, adding to a fresh and current approach. Under the production and arrangements of Diego Perinetti and the impeccable touch of Guille Mostaza in the mixing and mastering at Alamo Shock, it captures the essence of the trio: a game of light and shadow where raw guitars, an energetic bass and a voice that oscillates between fragility and the freshest power.

LOS PETARDOS

Los Petardos!  Were founded in late 2009 in the small town of Moca, Puerto Rico, starting as a simple excuse between friends and musicians to play music and get drunk ended up becoming a musical and cultural rediscovery by picking up their instruments and just letting go, searching for who they are and not what they want to be. They are citizens of the world with a musical past that feels like the mountains, beaches and island of Puerto Rico. This is how “Rocanrol con Gandules” was conceived, a reflection of the modern “jíbaro”. The end result is an alternative “garage” rock and roll sound with some surf rock along with nostalgic Caribbean nuances throughout the music. Los Petardos! are full of energy, good vibes and spontaneity; a different and eclectic vision of modern Puerto Rico.

LAS PETUNIAS

In a music scene where many bands struggle to be heard, Las Petunias not only stand out—they roar. This Madrid-based trio, composed of Elsa, Natalia, and Cecilia, has managed to capture something rare: the raw and charming essence of youth. Their style, an explosive fusion of punk rage and pop melodies, doesn’t shy away from being vulnerable or irreverent.

Las Petunias have grown to become one of the most exciting voices in Spain’s new underground wave. Their debut LP, *"Creo que soy de porcelana" (I Think I’m Made of Porcelain – Creo que soy de porcelana), is a sonic testament to their anxieties, romances, and the dizzying experience of being twenty-somethings with so much to say. It’s an album that hits hard with its intimate lyrics and boundless energy, yet also finds moments of sweetness, reminding us that fragility is not a weakness but a strength.

Live, Las Petunias are a whirlwind. Their performances, brimming with charisma and unapologetic attitude, turn every spectator into a front-row fanatic.

Still in their early steps, Las Petunias have already made it clear that they’re not afraid to challenge expectations or shake up the status quo. They’re more than a band; they’re a manifesto of what it means to be young, defiant, and authentic in a world that tries to box you in.

Remember their name: Las Petunias are here to stay, blooming with every chord, filling the music scene with color, and, as they themselves put it, leaving a mark as delicate as it is fierce.

Two homemade EPs were released in the years 2018 and 2019 mixing indie music with 80s sounds. As pandemic hit, the band went in the studio and started working on their first full-length release. Four years after their latest release, they have come back with a very complete self-released album that showed their maturity as musicians and producers. The album being a blend of multiple genres mixed up with their love for funky disco music, it keeps people on their feet waiting for the next catchy yet weird turn.

MENGERS

Mengers is a project that was born a few years ago in Mexico City and that offers a repertoire as chaotic as it is captivating, wandering between punk rock, hardcore and psychedelia.

In 2019, their debut album entitled I came out, a set of agitating songs ideal for being part of a cathartic pogo. Two years later they released GOLLY, their second album in which they translate in their own way the apocalyptic feeling that was experienced globally with the arrival of the covid-19 pandemic and the fall of the economy. Songs such as “Estrés”, “Tiempos suicidas”, “No hay futuro” and “Fin de la era” address somewhat dark themes with furious guitars and fast-paced drums.

The latest single “RAM” stands out, a frenetic song full of glitches that is inspired by “Piedra de sol”, a poem by Octavio Paz with quite dark and existentialist verses.
